Ādažu Vidusskola (ĀVS - Ādažu secondary school) is an educational institution founded by Ādaži Municipality for the implementation of general education programs. School consists of two buildings, where in one is the primary level (1st to 4th grade, and in other secondary level (5th to 12th grade). ĀVS is the biggest school in Latvia offering education for over 1800 students from age of 7 till 19.
School unites pupils from families with different financial backgrounds, cultures and beliefs study at the school, but no problems have been identified in the communication between pupils in terms of national, linguistic or social differences. Ādaži is a “young” municipality, i.e. many young families with school-age children, including young large families with
three or four children.
ĀVS nurtures and improves its traditions, but it is also open to innovation. The school offers a wide range of interest and non-formal education opportunities, meaningful and high-quality extracurricular activities are organized, and there is a favorable psycho-emotional climate.

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
