Description of organisation

Kindergarten No. 8 is located in the beautiful city of Gdańsk. 73 children aged 3 to 6 attend the kindergarten, which means we are not that big.
The aim of the kindergarten is:
- supporting children in developing their talents and shaping the intellectual activities they need in everyday situations and in further education,
- building a system of values, including raising children so that they better know what is good and what is bad, shaping children's emotional resilience necessary in new and difficult situations, including the gentle handling of stress and failures,
- developing social skills in children, which are necessary in proper relationships with children and adults,
- building children's knowledge about the social, natural and technical world and developing the ability to present their
thoughts in a way that is understandable to others,
- introducing children to the world of aesthetic values and developing the ability to express themselves through music, small theatrical forms and fine arts,
- shaping children's sense of social belonging (to the family, peer group, and community),
- providing children with better educational opportunities by supporting their curiosity, activity and independence,
- creating educational situations conducive to building the child's interest in a modern foreign language, willingness to learn about other cultures.

Our team consists open-minded, experienced proffesionals with long experience in pedagogical field.
