Description of organisation

SP nr 1 im. W. Rabczyńskiego in Wasilków educates 450 students aged 7-15 and employs 47 employees under employment contracts, who are the target group of activities carried out at the school. The main goal of our institution is to work with students at various intellectual levels, from gifted students to those with opinions and PPP certificates, from various backgrounds, with people with disabilities, often socially maladjusted or at risk of exclusion and those from Ukraine. The activities carried out are aimed at developing and equalizing educational opportunities and are planned and modified in accordance with the needs of students. The work of the school includes didactic, educational and care activities by creating conditions for acquiring and consolidating knowledge, arousing and developing individual interests of students, helping students with learning difficulties, shaping the skills of a healthy lifestyle, enabling students to develop comprehensive intellectual, physical, moral and by introducing them to independence, self-discipline and responsibility, or by providing them with the possibility of rational use of information and communication technologies in lessons of various subjects and extracurricular activities. In addition to the tasks specified in the general regulations, our school conducts activities popularizing work in such areas as: volunteering activities, takes part in charity events, e.g. Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, develops key competences.
