Description of organisation

CHALIGNY is a French commune of 2850 inhabitants located in the Grand EST region in the Meurthe et Moselle département (54).
The nearest town is NANCY (14 km), famous for its university, ranked among the 10 largest in France with 55,000 students.
At the town hall, a number of services are available to the population: registry office (births, deaths, etc.), town planning, maintenance of green spaces and communal buildings, school, after-school services, communal social action center.
It's a public service of general interest.
The 10-strong after-school team looks after 150 children aged 3 to 11, with activities, catering and daycare. The seniors' collective works with people over 65 to create social links.
