Description of organisation

Fóti Közszolgáltató Nonprofit Ltd was founded in 2008, its primary goal is to improve the comfort of the population of Fót and create a livable city. We create, increase and take care of our green areas, create and operate playgrounds, and maintain the local farmers' market. In addition to performing other tasks, our organization is responsible for the implementation of the youth strategy adopted by the city administration. In this area, our target group is families with small children, primary and secondary school students, independent young adults. The primary goal of our institution is to organize high-quality programs for them, to increase their knowledge in every possible way, and to broaden their perspective. That's why we operate a community space at Lake Somlyó, where together with the local government and civil organizations, we regularly organize programs, lectures, film screenings and other informative and entertaining events. We cooperate with the schools of our city, we try to reach out and involve the children in the programs. We cooperate with the city library and many relevant NGOs. In 2023, we launched our educational program on inclusion, when each event focuses on learning about and helping a particular disability. In the coming years, we plan to create additional community spaces and build international partnerships. Our goal is for the young residents of our city to be cooperative, open-minded citizens who know Europe well and want to explore it.
