Description of organisation

Auenwaldschule is an elementary school with a sponsoring association, based in a small village. We provide alternative learning opportunities that go beyond the traditional classroom setting. Our approach is designed to cater to different learning styles and interests, ensuring that each child can thrive in an environment that best suits their needs. Our educational model emphasizes cross-age and interdisciplinary learning. Students from different age groups collaborate on projects, allowing younger students to learn from their older peers and fostering a sense of mentorship and community. Students engage project-based learning, which is at the core of our curriculum. Adopting the open concept philosophy of Falko Peschel, our school operates on a democratic structure.
