Description of organisation

We are a Protestant church community called "St. Jacobi" located in Greifswald, Germany. We regularly host events for
children and youth aged 6 to 10 that cover topics related to Protestant Christianity.
We want to include a volunteer in our current project "Erinnern und Leben" (English: "remember and live"). This project aims
to prevent anti-Semitism and seeks to address various aspects of Jewish life in the past and present, together with young
people. Monthly excursions, meetings with Jewish individuals, workshops, and project days are organized to engage youth
aged 13 to 21. The events take place outside of school and need to be advertised for in various social and institutional
settings. Another goal of the initiative is to make the Jewish cemetery in Greifswald more visible and to create a memorial
plaque and website in collaboration with young people as part of a media education project.
