Description of organisation

Permacultura Aragón is a non-profit association whose headquarters and main project is Torre Escribana, a demonstration center for research, development and teaching in Permaculture. Located in a rural environment, it has 1 hectare of land and two houses, as well as other elements, such as a vegetable garden, edible forest, animal stable and other energy and water management systems that make Torre Escribana a benchmark in sustainability and environmental education. Our mission is to promote environmental care, social inclusion and local economic development through sustainable practices and community cooperation.

Objectives:
Promote international cooperation and solidarity through voluntary participation in Torre Escribana. Apply sustainable practices in land management, water use, renewable energy and organic farming. Strengthen local economies by combining traditional knowledge with modern sustainable technologies.
Build community networks to promote responsible consumption and environmental care.

Main activities:
Educational workshops and practical training in sustainability, permaculture. Volunteering programs focused on environmental protection, rural development and social equity.
Collaboration with public and private entities to promote sustainable development.

Target groups:childhood, youth, older people, women, functional diversity and, in general, marginalized and/or oppressed sectors.
