Description of organisation

The Salesian Institution in Morón de la Frontera was founded 95 years ago by the Salesian Congregation It consists of a Youth Center called Salerón and two Brotherhoods, in addition to the educational stages of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Basic, Intermediate and Higher Vocational Education and Training. The Salesian mission is to help young people break the dire chains of poverty and become self-sufficient, contributing members of society. We focus on the three pillars of Don Bosco’s Preventive system such as Religion, Reason and Loving Kindness.
Our main aims are as follows:
1. Promote employability. education and training among the youth.
2. Foster solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, especially to strengthen cohesion in the European Union.
3. Achieve European cooperation in the field of youth.
4. Promote active citizenship among young people in general and European citizenship in particular.
5. Facilitate mutual understanding among young people from different countries through the learning and acquisition of European languages.

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
