Description of organisation

Apprentis d’Auteuil is a Catholic Foundation, which was founded in 1866, and is recognized since 1929 by the French State as a foundation of public utility, acting in close proximity to children, young people and their families in vulnerable situations in more than 300 educational services in France, where young people receive strong educational support to let them get their bearings and re-learn the rules. Among the educational structures figures the Saint François La Cadène site, located in the suburb of Toulouse near the South-West regional office of Apprentis d'Auteuil. Saint François is a general, technological and professional high school, training in the horticultural production and landscaping sector. It was created in 1956 and taken over by the Fondation d'Auteuil in 2008. At the start of the 2022 school year, it has 280 students from the 8th grade to the Advanced Technician’s Certificate in Agriculture aged between 14 and 18 years old. The 4th to 9th grade classes of agricultural education represent 35% of our students. The school also has inclusion programs: inclusion of youngsters with special needs through an inclusion class ( known as ULIS classes) and classes for children with disabilities ASEI transplanted class (dysphasic youngsters). Vocational courses (Certificate of Professional Competence in Agriculture, Professional Baccalaureate) represent 40% of our students.
