Description of organisation

ForMe Coop is a female social enterprise based in Thessaloniki, Greece, established in 2021 by a group of craftepreneurs with the support of the Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs (SEGE). It aims to empower women and youth through crafts, creativity, and social innovation, promoting equal opportunities, inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods.
The cooperative supports women artisans, educators, and young creators in developing entrepreneurial and digital skills while preserving traditional techniques and transforming them into tools for social and economic empowerment. Its main activities include craft-based workshops, mentoring, and community projects that connect cultural heritage with environmental awareness and creative entrepreneurship.
ForMe Coop operates its educational programs in collaboration with local stakeholders, in schools, public spaces, and at WEHub of SEGE, the women’s entrepreneurship hub where it is based. These programs encourage community participation and intercultural dialogue while strengthening creative and social competences.
Target groups include women, young people, NEETs, and individuals facing social or economic exclusion. Through creative practice and cooperative learning, ForMe Coop fosters inclusion, confidence, and active citizenship, making crafts a bridge between tradition, innovation, and European values.
