Description of organisation

Our volunteer-based NGO, the International Water Well Aid Association, was founded in Istanbul on January 21, 2020, guided by the principle that "Clean water is everyone’s right." We focus on practical, sustainable, and long-lasting solutions that preserve nature, safeguard natural resources, improve health and living conditions for people and all living beings, and foster the growth of communities worldwide. Here's what we do: • We build projects that bring clean water to regions suffering from water scarcity, using solid research and real-world know-how. • We run local initiatives that teach water saving and promote smart usage, including rainwater harvesting. • We improve how wastewater is treated and reused, reducing pollution and helping to preserve nature’s water systems. • We organize engaging talks and workshops to raise awareness about water care, nature conservation, and environmental protection. Our core mission is to identify and provide clean water sources in areas facing water scarcity, while also protecting natural water resources, supporting biodiversity, and safeguarding the habitats of all living beings. Our work centers on recycling water, reducing waste, and offering eco-friendly solutions that protect the planet. By involving everyone—from local communities and volunteers to experts and decision-makers—we’re working towards a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for all.
