In the frame of the European election in 2019, the main task of the volunteer will be to inform the citizens, and more particularly the youth, of Europe’s role. What is the impact of Europe in our daily life? What is the history? Which future do I want for Europe? The objective of this volunteering will be to make people to think about Europe as citizen and to encourage to the vote during the future election. The volunteer will probably work with an other French volunteer. In particular the volunteer will: - Prepare communication support and activities to make people aware about the future election and Europe’s role. - After finding the youth structures interested in the project, organize activities with different publics on different topics: environment, economics, youth, mobility… - With the help of the local team, organize monthly event linked with the associative life - Participate to the weekly meeting with the team - Be involved in the life of the association
TranslateAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation will be provided. The volunteer will be accommodated in the house of Concordia, next to the offices of the association, with 4 or 5 other volunteers. The volunteers will have to adopt a collective life which means cook and eat together, propose activities in group and participate to the associative events that we organize once a month in the house of the volunteers. The volunteer will get pocket money (5€ per day) and money for food (7,50€ per day). Internet is available in the house but it’s better to bring your own laptop.

- Driving license will be a plus - Basic knowledge in French or motivation to learn french - Motivation to promote EU values - Be flexible and open to meet/live with new people, to think outside of the box - Be willing to develop a personal project - Motivation to discover the associative world and all its activities - Be active and participative - Availability to start in October 2018
