The main objective of the project V-LENS project is to rise the level of awareness and knowledge about active citizenship, human rights and EU citizenship and raise the desire of becoming active citizens among young informing them about the meaning and concrete practice of active citizenship via online ITC tools and video. The project will also create the framework for the personal and professional development of 8 volunteers who will participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the project activities. A1. Will be organized in the first month of the project and will consist of the . Preparation, Adaptation and Training programme (PAT) A2. Will consist of Developing Active Citizenship Enhancing Online Tools A3. Community Engagement phase A4. Dissemnation, Evaluation and Follow up – 1 month
TranslateAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
Travel: CRES will purchase flight tickets and CRES together with the Sending Organisation will make sure that the volunteer is well informed, has all documents and gets safely on board. Accommodation: CRES will host the volunteers in rented apartments in the city of Craiova. Each accommodation will assure good living conditions (private beds, equipped kitchen and bathroom, heating system, running cold/ hot water, Wi-Fi). Monthly food allowance: 120 euro/month Pocket money: 60 euro/month
TranslateTraining during the project
A1 will be organized in the first month of the project and will consist of the . Preparation, Adaptation and Training programme (PAT) which aims to provide good understanding of the concept of active citizenship and skill to transmit the information further thus this part covering both theoretical knowledge as well as the technical know-how.
TranslateVolunteer profile
- Aged between 18 to 30 years - The volunters of the V-LENS project need to be interested in media production, want to make their voice heard and use their creativity to help and teach others - Active, open-minded, creative, innovative, responsible and motivated volunteers - The volunteers of this project should, above all else, show willingness to learn and see their EVS experience as a learning process. - Basic level of English (being able to make herself/himself understood by the others – able to communicate).
