1 , OpenProject description
“Benefits of international voluntary service” is a project aiming at recognition of competences developed in short term voluntary projects (Workcamps). A volunteer will be in charge of contacting volunteers coming to Poland from all around the world and conducting a research with workcamp participants. We would like to focus on competences participants get through volunteering andd how does it affect their views on society (like active participation, multiculturalism). Gathered data will be used for promotion of international voluntary service and the values it brings - tolerance, intercultural understanding, youth mobility. A volunteer will also organize intercultural meetings with polish youth, workcampers and will have an opportunity to visit various workcamp projects. Important part of the project will also be communication and promotion of workcamps based on gathered data through social media. (creating graphics, making videos, posts, etc.)
