The main role of the volunteer will be to bring a European and intercultural opening to the actions of the Educational Department and its partners, particularly the schools and the local Municipal Animation Center. Tasks of the volunteer during his/her mission: - Leading activities in the local Municipal Animation Center as a part of an animation team - Leading complementary pedagogical activities on intercultural topics (discovery of other European cultures, etc.) - Working with secondary and high schools in the frame of homework support - Collaboration with the local leaders in order to develop new actions and approaches to the working methods - Participation in the activities led by the Educational Department as well as other services (cultural, school, sports). - Preparation and animation of holidays camps - Promotion of mobility and volunteering among different audiences The tasks can evolve according to wishes and profile. Possibility to suggest own projects
TranslateAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will live in Concordia’s flat with another EVS volunteer. The volunteer will have his/her own room. The flat is well equipped and furnished to ensure a comfortable stay. It is located in the centre of the city. The accommodation, house services and Internet fees are 100% covered by Concordia. The volunteer will receive money for food (7,5 € / day) and pocket money (5 € / day) according to EVS funding rules. The volunteer will use public transport to go to the host organisation.
TranslateTraining during the project
The volunteer will be individually followed by a dedicated mentor. He/she will have free access to Online Linguistic Support provided by Erasmus+ to learn French following the flexible schedule of the online course. Moreover, French National Agency provides two seminars for EVS volunteers: on-arrival and mid-term, let them meet each other and share their experiences, and help to get the best out of their projects. Furthermore, Concordia gives an opportunity to the volunteer to pass the training for camp learders and co-lead international workcamps.

We are searching for an active and motivated person with the following qualities: - Adaptability; - Good communication and presentation skills; - Flexibility and ability to communicate with different audiences; - Experience with children (work with children, taking care of them,...) - Good level of French, to facilitate the communication with the children. - Interest in developing pedagogical activities
