Project description

The long-term EVS project "Path to development" aims to empower the volunteers with motivation and tools to build on each of their new and valuable experience and keep their understanding of life-long learning to contribute to building society based on knowledge, social awareness and tolerance. The project aims to enhance the professional, personal and social skills and competences of the volunteers to empower them with the ability to actively participate in the society. Volunteer will be involved in the following activities: • Project assistance with ongoing and annual projects of ICPI • Informational Meetings at high schools/Universities • Supporting Planing and organizing Weekly activities of Generator - meetups, movie sessions, workshops, etc. • Developing social Campaigns, Events: Promoting european Values in Local society/ Community garden etc. • PR/Marketing of Organization; Meetings with the mentor and other volunteers

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will be accommodated in a rented apartment with single or double rooms, which will be shared with other volunteers. The apartment will be fully equipped and will have all necessary facilities for living (bathroom & toilet, washing machine, kitchen etc.). The location is chosen in a way to make it easily reachable by public means of transport. At the beginning of each month the volunteers will receive pocket money according to the Erasmus+ guide and food allowance. The volunteers will receive monthly allowance for transportation according to their working schedule as well.

Training during the project

The volunteer will attend trainings as part of the EVS project (on-arrival and mid-term training) and will have the chance to participate in trainings organizaed by the receiving organization

Volunteer profile

We are looking for candidates with experience or high interest in the areas of evets organizing, social media, graphic design and project management as well as high motivation and willingness to learn new skills, get involved in community activities, contribute to express and promote european values and understanding on how the project can help them develop personally and professionally. To ensure gender diversity the organization would prefer to accept a male volunteer, however this is not a limiting restriction and application from female candidates will also be considered!
