Description
CRINABEL is a cooperative with non-profit status, founded in 1975, in accordance with the cooperative code, by the initiative of a group of parents and other people involved in the rehabilitation of children and young people with developmental delays. Its mission is to train, support and integrate people with intellectual disabilities and their families, contributing to the improvement of their quality of life. Volunteers will help in Occupational Center & Residential House supporting clients in the various outdoor & recreational activities & also in the classes. They can help in the daily routines & in vacations take part in summer camps where non-formal activities such as games or energyzers are an added value.
Ordninger for innkvartering, mat og transport
ProAtlântico provides €5 per day for food and extra expenses (eg. cleaning materials) during non-working time. Volunteer can use the food money to buy food, cook in the apartment, eat in a restaurant, etc). During working time the receiving organization provides meals in the organization which is based on a Mediterranean diet. ProAtlântico provides accommodation in apartment (with 6/8 volunteers in total), University residence, hostel or hosting family, Casa Europa, multiple bedroom with fully equipped kitchen,toilet, laundry facilities and living room
Training during the activity
ProAtlântico will support the volunteers in the learning of portuguese. During the project, volunteers will have different trainings (work with children, Youthpass, etc). Volunteers will participate in trainings promoted by National Agency.

Volunteers must be: -very human, -self motivated, -proactive, -creative, -with handwork skills, -very flexible
