Project description

Training centers for apprentices train young people aged 16 to 26 years old to become for instance baker, hairdresser, car mechanic, carpenter.... During their studies apprentices can experiment european internships within Erasmus + program. The volunteer interested in this EVS project will be based in our chamber and will be in contact with our mobility network in 11 training centers. During the first month of stay, the volunteer will integrate our chamber, discover apprenticeship sector and familiarize with the language and the surroundings. Then she/he will have the following missions: - promote Europe and European citizenship amongst apprentices -organize and/or participate in event promotion - organize cultural or linguistic workshops - search for european partners or hosting companies - help organize stays abroad for groups (logistic, elaboration of linguistic tools...) - promote mobility activities on social networks...

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will be accomodated in a student residence in the center of Toulouse city so as to be in contact with other French and European students as well as volunteers. All flats are fully equipped and the residence is located near public transport, shops, restaurants and bars as well as cultural attractions. All transport and food expenses will be reimbursed to the volunteer.

- age: 18-30 years old - men or women - able to work individually and in a team - eager to dicover the world of training centers and apprentices - motivated, open minded, flexible, proactive - should have linguistic basis in French.
