Our 12 months EVS project will consists in several activities on Environmental education, Outdoor and Hostelling activities in our mountain hut Rifugio Le Cave, Promotion of european and international volunteering experience throughout the youngsters of the town, promoting environmental awareness trough national and local campaingn like "Puliamo il mondo", "Tree-Fest" and local festivals. Organization of Summer camps for childrens and national and international workcamps in natural green areas of Prato.
TranslateAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
The mean number of working time is 5-6 hours per day. During Summer, summer camps for children, international workcamps, Rifugio Le cave hostelling will require a permanent stay up to 14 days in the place where those activities will occur. The volunteers will live together in shared accommodation in the historical center of Prato. The apartment has 3 independent double bed - rooms with shared services. Pocket money is 115 euro every month for volunteers. Every volunteers will have 145 euro monthly to spend in 2 supermarkets of Prato. local transport and extra urban transport are included.
TranslateTraining during the project
the host organisation provides task related support through the coordinator of evs project and the responsible of different areas of Legambietne Prato. For every activities foreseen in this EVS project, responsible and educators of Legambiente Prato will deliver to EVS volunteers all the useful information, training and tools to carry out their tasks. The host organization identifies a mentor who can plans individual and group meeting with the evs volunteers. ITALIAN Language course will be delivered trough the “On-line Linguistic support”. Local language course will be also delivered

Who we are looking for? Requirements needed are: Motivation and interest in environmental/educational/youth topics Availability for 12 months project Willing to live together, share and cooperate with other 5 evs volunteers Good proficiency in English language (both written and spoken) Good command of Microsoft Office (powerpoint-excel-word) -Internet- Social network Requirements desired are: Knowledge of Italian language (basic level is ok) Video/Photo editing_Web mastering(wordpress) Selection of potential volunteers will be based on Mot.
