The Local Action Group of Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse offers an itinerant volunteering project aimed at supporting different local initiatives in the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse region of Belgium. The main mission of is to implement various projects in the field of agriculture, the environment, local employment and social cohesion in the territory. The volunteers will travel to different places to help the leaders of initiatives working in the development of village dynamics, the protection of biodiversity and heritage or cultural projects.
The group will help the Collective of Mettet: "Mettet-vous en Transition" to clean green spaces, paths, to develop a pond or a nourishing forest. They will also, in support of another citizen collective in Saint Aubin, mark up and place geocaching capsules. Finally, the group will help the personnel of the Cultural Center of Walcourt in the construction of mobile dry toilets.
