This activity aims to create a collaborative cookbook with local recipes using stories. Vocational High Schools enable students studying Food and Beverage Services to develop their professional skills, discover dishes from local stories and gain a global perspective on their profession. Stories and local dishes will be used as the main theme, as they play an important role in the sustainability of cultural and gastronomic tourism. It is known that local dishes are a destination attraction. As a communication tool, stories also add an element of distinctive appeal, giving destinations a unique competitive advantage. On the other hand, unfortunately, most of the local stories and their heroes are out of reach, some of them are forgotten after a while. By discovering the food of local stories, we can uncover and keep alive their peoples, legends, heroes and heritage.
