Oireachtas Committee on Environment and Climate Action
On Friday 3rd June, young people from Foróige and Comhairle na nÓg have been invited into Leinster House to engage directly with the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Environment and Climate Action. In the year of Seanad 100, the Cathaoirleach of the Seanad, Senator Mark Daly, has agreed to open the doors of the Seanad chamber to host this session. Young people from across Ireland will have the opportunity to present their perspectives on the climate crisis directly to policy-makers, and engage in discussion with TDs and Senators on a range of topics relating to environment and climate action. The session will be broadcast live on Oireachtas TV.
