European Youth Conference (EUYC)

Organized in the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the European Youth Conference will open the 9th cycle of the EU Youth Dialogue.

For 18 months, under the French, Czech and Swedish Presidencies, the cycle will operate under the motto "Engaging together for a sustainable and inclusive Europe".
The conference is a key moment in the mechanism of dialogue between young people and policymakers, which is part of the EU Youth Strategy.
Focusing mainly on youth commitment for sustainable development/environment, the Conference, which will take place in January 2022, aims to take into account the expectations of young Europeans in the form of options to set up the frame of the cycle and recommendations. It will be an opportunity to highlight good practices and offer a space for dialogue with policymakers.

The conference will be organized in conjunction with the European call for projects "Young and Eco-committed", which aims to promote innovative projects by young people on the theme of the environment, the winners of which will be chosen and awarded during the conference.
The conference is open to national delegations while the plenary sessions will be broadcast live on the internet.
