Come to our DiscoverEU Meet-Up if you want to learn about the rich culture of the Slavic people and have plans to go to the Balkans!
The Balkans provide an unforgettable travel experience. It's lovely, classic, and rustic all at once. Visit Belgrade to make your own judgement! You will get the opportunity to see the lively city of Belgrade with other DiscoverEU travellers, taste Serbian cuisine, and take part in enjoyable activities.

❓ What did we plan out for you? ❓
To begin with, we warmly encourage you to take a culinary journey enriched by our unique tastes to experience Belgrade's distinct urban character and way of life.
Obviously, we should be active if we eat! Come enjoy outdoor activities, develop a friendship with a horse, and learn how to ride one. 🐎
Additionally, explore some of our museums and creative workshops to have a deeper understanding of the rich history and traditions of our cultural heritage. We'll also let you know that there's a possibility to meet some puppies and even paint with them! 🐶
Sounds fun? 🎉 Indeed, it is, but the good times don't end here. While dining and enjoying music, you will feel like you are a part of Belgrade's characteristic bohemian neighbourhood and much more. 🎻 🪗 🎷
Costs? 🆓 FREE! Tickets, meals, and accommodation costs are all paid for! All you have to do is arrive and enjoy an incredible two days (or longer, if you'd like) in a nation with so much to offer!
Since many DiscoverEU travellers are expected to be in Novi Sad, the romantic city of Northern Serbia, for one of the finest European music events - the EXIT Festival, our meet-up will take place immediately following it.
* Programme changes may occur in the case of bad weather.
** Because of infrastructure work, international train services to/from Serbia are currently suspended. For that reason, bus travel costs from and to the nearest train stations in the neighbouring countries can be covered (Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia).
Please note that you must be a DiscoverEU traveller to participate in the meet-up.
The number of participants is limited, so hurry up and register! ⏰
The Meet-up is organised by Foundation Tempus - the Serbian National Agency for Erasmus+. If you have technical problems during registration or need additional information regarding the event, please contact us via email at info@tempus.ac.rs. Selected participants will receive a detailed agenda of the event after the registration deadline is closed.
