Volunteer at Oslo Pride – 3 nights of free accommodation and food

Join the largest celebration of queer love and diversity in Norway. Last year, over 90,000 people participated in the parade, and 50,000 guests visited our festival area, Pride Park. Throughout Oslo, Pride Week comprises more than 250 different events, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

In 1974, 250 individuals stood bravely at University Square in Oslo as they marked the first Pride event in Norway. This year, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historic event.

Join our team of more than 300 passionate and inclusive volunteers, uniting to bring the festival to life. As a festival volunteer, you'll play a vital role in tasks such as setting up and dismantling festival areas, providing hospitality services, assisting the public, running errands, and supporting our secretariat. Together, we'll create an unforgettable experience for all.

As a volunteer from the DiscoverEU programme, you will have the chance to meet hundreds of other volunteers and build friends for life and have time to enjoy Oslo Pride events.

For those who would like, you are more than welcome to join the Oslo Pride Parade on Saturday, June 29th, alongside 90,000 fellow participants. Feel the warmth of acceptance as hundreds of thousands line the sidewalks, cheering and supporting our journey towards love and equality. Your presence adds to the vibrant tapestry of diversity and inclusion, making a powerful statement of solidarity. Come, march with pride, and be a beacon of hope for a brighter, more inclusive future.

A professional team will be coordinating your stay in Oslo and make sure you have all the information you need during your stay. A dedicated coordinator will be your contact person throughout the stay. 

On Thursday, we will host a social gathering to facilitate introductions among participants of the Oslo Pride DiscoverEU program, followed by a guided tour of Pride Park in Oslo. On Friday and Saturday, you will be integral members of the volunteer team overseeing operations at Pride Park. Rest assured, we will ensure that you have the opportunity to take part in selected events, such as concerts, and the parade on Saturday.

This meet-up lasts for three days, starting on the afternoon of June 27^th, ending on June 30^th. Three nights of accommodation is included: 

• June 27^th – June 28^th 
• June 28^th – June 29^th 
• June 29^th – June 30^th 

You will be staying at a hostel in Oslo city center and share dorms with other participants in the meet-ups.
