On 19 March 2026, Costas Kadis, Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans, and Glenn Micallef, Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, will host a Youth Policy Dialogue on ocean matters with 30 young people in Cyprus.
During the dialogue, titled "Young Voices for the Ocean", young participants will have the opportunity to share their opinions, concerns and recommendations on:
🐬Making careers in the blue economy attractive
🎣The future of fisheries and aquaculture, and
🏺 The preservation of underwater cultural heritage.
