On 11 and 12 October the EU4Youth Days, the flagship event of DG NEAR in the context of the European Year of Youth, will take place in Brussels in hybrid format.
For the first time ever, the EU4Youth Days will bring together youth workers and practitioners, policy makers and researchers from the Eastern Partnership region, the Western Balkans and Turkey, and the Southern Neighbourhood. With DG NEAR in the lead, this event will offer space to take part in the discussions about youth resilience, participation and dialogue, youth employment and entrepreneurship, green transition and digitalisation.
The European Year of Youth 2022 highlights the importance of youth in constructing a better future - one that is greener, more inclusive, and digital. Moving forward in a post-pandemic world with confidence and hope, the European Year of Youth is offering numerous possibilities to learn, share your vision, meet people, and participate in activities throughout Europe and its neighbouring regions.
The EU4Youth Days Conference (11 October) will focus on strengthening youth capacities to develop their own resilience. Youth workers and practitioners, policy makers and researchers from the EU, Eastern Partnership region, the Western Balkans, Turkey and the Southern Neighbourhood will share their experience on how to build partnerships with young people in addressing challenges that affect them.
During the EU4Youth Days Virtual Knowledge Sharing Event (12 October) participants will be able to stroll with their avatars through an interactive 2D game-like Youth Days space where they can actively share and discover good practices on a wide range of themes for improved youth support established in the EU and beyond. Engage with their peers, youth policy experts and active in civil society young people from the EU and its neighbouring regions to learn from each other and create sustainability and synergies between their initiatives and projects.
Registration to connect to the event online is open on the EU4Youth Days website!
