The New European Bauhaus initiative connects the European Green Deal to our living spaces.

What’s the space you dream of living in when you think of a sustainable future? Certainly, it will be beautiful, inclusive and sustainable!

This is the exercise the EU is doing through the New European Bauhaus Initiative, which connects the European Green Deal with our living spaces. Citizens, institutions, businesses and organisations are invited to share their views, imagine and co-create our future spaces.

In a nutshell, the New European Bauhaus is a platform to connect and experiment with others about the design of our living spaces in the future but it also aims to bridge the fields of technology, art, culture and sustainability.

It consists of three phases: co-design (until Summer 2021), delivery (as of September 2021) and dissemination (from January 2022 onward).  

Using this interdisciplinary approach, the result of this initiative will bring more affordable and accessible living spaces; and it will improve the quality and sustainability of our living experience. Therefore it is a huge step towards a greener and more sustainable future!
