Take part in COP28 side events!

The 28th installment of the UN Climate Change Conference is just around the corner. As well as participating in the negotiations, the EU is also organising a vibrant programme of side events on the margins of the Conference of the Parties (COP28).

From 30 November – 12 December, the EU's pavilion will host 90+ sessions featuring over 450 speakers from around the world, with one goal: to discuss the most pressing issues related to the climate crisis. Side events will be held onsite in Dubai and online, and will all be livestreamed at COP28 side events platform.

There will also be COP28 events dedicated to youth, including: 

• “Shaping the clean energy system of tomorrow,’’ - on Tuesday 5 December at 15.30h CET (18:30h Dubai time). It will brings together young professionals and activists to discuss the global energy transition with European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič.
• “European Climate Pact: Engaging citizens in climate action,” - on Friday 8 December at 15.30h CET (18:30h Dubai time). It will bring together Climate Pact Ambassadors for a conversation with EU Commissioner for Climate Action Wopke Hoekstra.
