Through Our Lens - Celebrating 25 Years of AU-EU Partnership

The EU Delegation to the African Union and the African Union Commission opened the "#AUEU25 Through Our Lens" Photography Competition: a key element of the joint AU-EU Partnership 25th anniversary campaign #AUEU25.

We invite photographers to document visual stories that reflect the AU-EU Partnership’s tangible impact through their unique perspective. 

From sustainable economic development initiatives to educational exchanges, technological innovation to climate action and energy transition, this collaboration has delivered concrete results that have meaningfully improved lives in both continents.

To be eligible, photographers should be nationals of the EU or African countries and 30 years old or younger. 

If you're a young photographer this is a great chance to showcase your work and win exciting prizes. 25 finalists will have their work featured in exhibitions and digital publications. The 2 winners (one African, one European) will receive a 500€ financial award and attend the award ceremony in Addis Ababa.
