In this new episode we didn’t have one guest but two!
Aleesha Johanna Wiegandt an Irish youth with German origines, who just finished her Erasmus+ studies in France, after one year. She has also participated in other, non-EU experiences abroad in Lesotho (South Africa), and in Vermont (USA) and she is currently working in YMCA Ireland.
Orla Coffey an Irish young person currently doing her Erasmus+ studies in Germany. Orla is studying French, German and Irish in University College Dublin, in Ireland. She has also been on two different exchanges - one to the Netherlands and one to Hungary.
Both of them have shared with us all these amazing experiences. They explain to us how life changing these experiences have been for them, professionally and personally, also outlining the differences between living on an island and living in mainland Europe. They took the chance to express their love for the different cultures and languages that form the continent even comparing it with the United States. They reflect on the importance of the mother language and the ones you learn during life. All in a funny and entertaining way!
