Volunteers can learn about Estonian social system, alternative communication, organising events and workshops. There will be 2 international volunteers working in the centre at the same time but in different groups. Service will last from September 2025 until summer 2026 (10-12 months). Dates are flexible. instagram.com/noorngo

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will stay at the university dorm or shared apartment with other volunteers. There is also possibility to change the accommodation if the dorm solution is not suitable for some reason. Volunteers will receive monthly food and pocket money. All work related transport will be covered by the programme.

Training during the activity

Volunteers will receive work related trainings if it is necessary. All special techniques used with the target group will also be taught to the volunteers if they are interested in learning. Erasmus+ and ESC Agency in Estonia will organize on-arrival and mid-term trainings for volunteers.

Participant profile

Volunteers should be motivated to work with people with disabilities. Open minded and accepting. It would be good if she/he has previous experiences in the field but it is not determining fact in the application process. Volunteers should be open to use creative methods while communicating with the clients because some of them do not speak any verbal language. Juks is a big centre hence flexibility helps volunteers to adjust with the work culture. Basic English is required.
