Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Days off and holidays: volunteers have 2 days a week free + 2 days per month of vacation. While working occasionally on weekends they have extra days off during the week. Allowances: Volunteers get their pocket money and food allowance monthly (at the beginning of each month), they are provided with card for Brno public transport. Accommodation: Volunteers live in rented flats NOT IN THE CENTER OF THE CITY.
Training during the activity
Volunteer will join oficial trainings done by Czech NA - on-arrival and mid-term training. Also supposed to join pre-departure training done by NA in his/her country or by his/her supporting organization. There will be also throughout the year diverse workshops offered by our organisation or by our partner organisations.
Participant profile
Main focus of the volunteer will be assistance in the art and pottery classes/hobby clubs for children (3-15 years old). Workplace Louka offers also many other hobby clubs for kids (focused on sports, music, cooking etc.), so volunteer can assist also here. Volunteer will work 30 hours per week, including meeting with ESC coordinator and other volunteers + Czech language classes.
