Internationale Begegnung in Gemeinschaftsdiensten e.V.
Stuttgart, Alemania
Descripción
As a short-term volunteer with IBG, you will take part in 2 workcamps in Germany completly free of charge over a period of five weeks: 1- IBG25 Heidenheim from 13.09 to 27.09, in Heidenheim, you will help in the tear down of the stage of an outdoor community theater as well as different maintenance and gardening tasks in the beautiful property in the middle of the nature. 2- IBG19 Orchard Meadow from 29.09. to 13.10, in the middle of the Swabian-Franconian Forest there is an orchard with elderly fruit trees. The task is important as trimming trees increases their lifespan and old trees are a perfect habitat for various animals. Orchard meadows play an outstanding role for biodiversity in Central Europe. Here, in the middle of nature, the group will live together in tents in the forest and can relax from city life for two weeks. In both you will live and work together with a group of international volunteers, while contributing on local community projects.
