Description
BDC is a civic organization aiming to increase quality of volunteering in Bratislava region and to motivate folks to volunteer. A participant will help the organization to fulfill its mission through promotion - graphic design, preparing short videos, taking photos, etc. A participant will engage in activities such as: support promotion of volunteering in secondary schools, motivate people to volunteer mainly via making creative content (photography, video, posters, flyers) at BDC events, promotion of our other partners and their volunteering offers, taking and editing the visual materials and preparation for publishing. A volunteer in BDC participates in all our events where he/she provides various kinds of support, mainly related to the mentioned tasks. We welcome volunteer's own initiatives and ideas how to improve advertising of the organization, etc. The volunteer will work on own personal project and present his/her experience with the ESC program to the students.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteer will be provided an adequate place to live - in a separate room in a dormitory or in a shared apartment with other volunteers (room can be shared with 1 more person), we do not guarantee a separate room. Bratislavské dobrovoľnícke centrum (BDC) provides the volunteer with pocket money, food arrangements, and contribution to local transportation (380 EUR/month) and travel arrangements to and from Bratislava according to the distance calculator.
Formation pendant l’activité
BDC provides orientation training the day after arrival, and other trainings related to the program. Volunteer attends a compulsory language course, coaching sessions, meetings. BDC supports the volunteer during the project. No one from the team specializes in graphic design but we can pay external training in this field for the volunteer. Volunteer also must attend On-arrival and Mid-term training organized by the National Agency where he/she will meet with other ESC volunteers from Slovakia & at the end of the project gains the Youthpass certificate.

We're a civic organization dedicated to elevating the quality of volunteering. Our mission is to integrate volunteering into society, seeing it as important part in addressing current social-environmental challenges. We value volunteers who share this vision and passion. A participant will enhance their skills while contributing to our greater purpose. Desired traits include: creative- we welcome your ideas, flexible, communicative, responsible, independent, and interested in visual content creation. Experience with Adobe programs is advantageous, while proficiency in Canva is required. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
