Description
Volunteer will be involved in the activities carried out in educational community. He/she will help the educators in everyday life of children with difficulties related to problems of the family of origin and personality, wich can lead to behavioral, relational, affective, and psychological disorders, carrying out the following activities: • to support the animators in daily tasks; • to participate in the community life through the organization of outdoor activities, craft workshops and others educational activities relevant for personal’s projects (according with the individual education project of the child). Pet therapy, land art, bio-agricuture, open air activities, cultural trip are organized with the support of volunteer according with kid interest and potential. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Food: the receiving organization directly supplies food. In the holiday period (2 day per month and 7 days for Christmas the volunteer will receive 6 euro/day) Accommodation: independent small apartment next to the educational community (1 kitchen/dining room + 2 single bedroom/ 1 bedroom is occupied by a young educator). Facilities available. Address: via Divisione Julia 42, Calvene (VI) - Italy/100 km far from Venice Working hours: 30 hours/week + 1 of tutoring + 2 hour/month of mentoring+8 hours/month with other esc volunteers in the area.
Formation pendant l’activité
Language support: the coordinator will organize an Italian language course with a professional teacher (40 hours). The course will be shared with volunteers of another organization of the area called Samarcanda. The course will be in Calvene and in Schio. Group mentoring to develop leadership and soft skills (1 time per month with other esc volunteers in the area). Profil du participant
• creative, patient and proactive person; strong passion for nature and willingness to live in a rural context; • a friendly, communicative and active attitude; • wishing of developing interpersonal relationships; • strong interest in volunteering in the context described below and to have intensive experience of work with youth and children suffering; • able to drive (driving license); indipendent and autonomous; We only accept long-term candidates!
