Description
Our general purpose in the project; - To offer young people the opportunity to volunteer and learn in an intercultural environment, - To strengthen cultural tolerance among young people and to break down prejudices, - To change young people’s perspective of the world by offering them the chance of mobility, - To provide activities that contribute to the learning process of volunteers who have the benefit and influence to the local, - To add Europe item into our projects helping young people improve their knowledge, skills and experiences in personal, social, cultural and professional aspects. - Being social, - To provide young people with the opportunity to develop their self-confidence, to become active citizens and to experience other lifestyles, - To develop foreign language speaking skills, - To increase the quality of inter-agency projects and cooperation activities, - To introduce the Erasmus + program and to spread it among young people.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The project budget covers all expenses, including accommodation, food, pocket money, health insurance, and visa costs. Volunteers will receive 150 euros for food and 150 euros for pocket money every month. Volunteers will be accommodated in a single room in a fully furnished flat with all needed kitchen utensils, which is situated 5 minutes' walk to the office and the city center. The flat has all the necessary living facilities.
Training during the activity
During your solidarity participation, you will have the opportunity to develop various personal skills, including soft and technical skills. Improve your English practice skills. Enhance your planning and organisation skills. Learn a new language. Increase your level of active citizenship.
Participant profile
We are looking for a person who is; - aged between 18 and 30 - legally resident or citizen of an EU country - is open-minded towards different cultures - is willing to learn and try new things - to be patient, and be able to share time with the young people - can communicate in a good level of English
