Arrabal AID is a non-governmental organization, with almost twenty years of experience, whose mission is to improve the social and working conditions of the population, especially of the more vulnerable communities, as to be able to achieve a fairer and more supportive social role model. Arrabal AID, according to its values and principles, gives support to every person, promoting equal opportunities and supporting these communities helping them to reach their goals and achievements in a self-sufficient way. http://asociacionarrabal.org/other-languages Since its beginnings, ARRABAL has relied on a multidisciplinary team, and on a clear vision of what should be social intervention and transformation, which has given us a self-identity, making of us a Third Sector reference in Málaga. Regarding our staff, we rely on different professionals from various areas: social work, psychology, social education, teaching, pedagogy, communication, business administration and law.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Flat for four participants of ESC projects. Four bedrooms, living room, kitchen, terrace, and two bathrooms. Transportation is not necessary, because it is close to the entity. If necessary for any activity, the entity covers the cost.
Training during the activity
- You will receive ESC training: one upon arrival and another after 6 months (mandatory by the program). - You will learn methodologies from a team of professionals. - Online Spanish language course. - Go to events/days. - Develop your own projects with your ideas
Participant profile
Do you like activities with Kids/Youths? Aactive person, who likes to work with children and young people, as well as dancing, crafts, physical activities, etc: - Workshops with children educational support and education in values: support in the planning and development of workshops with the team of monitors (information search, group dynamics). - Trainning for youth in exclusion finding job. - Urban Summer Camp. - Workshops on the use of computers. - Administrative tasks: to draw the attendance sheet of students and update daily report incidents. - Other tasks that may arise.
