Description
➔ Post and schedule content on different automation and social media platforms daily while interacting with the OCC community online; ➔ Support the team with creating awareness-raising content, e.g., writing articles for blogs; ➔ Produce and edit visual materials through Canva or Photoshop (graphics, reels, stories, etc.); ➔ Support creating landing pages, designing flyers, sending newsletters and emails, etc; ➔ Support and attend events to take pictures and videos of our activities; ➔ Support the implementation of the marketing and communication strategy; ➔ Take part in the ESC activities (organisation of team building activities, awareness raising in schools, etc.); ➔ Support the rest of the team and participate actively in the organisation’s activities;
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
➔ Travel costs coverage: Up to the limits established in the Erasmus+ Guide distance calculator from the volunteer’s region of residency to our center ➔ Free Accommodation (shared room): Provided in Polykastro. The flat is fully equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, wifi, etc ➔ Monthly allowance: 330 euros per month ➔ Insurance: Henner ➔ Free Language courses: Online
Training during the activity
You will receive a complete induction to Open Cultural Center activities, values & principles and processes. You will receive training on OCC's safeguarding policies. You will be trained by your direct supervisor in regards to your tasks. You will also receive training on the usage of online work tools (Slack, Notion, Airtable, etc.). You will have access to our language courses (in presence or online, Catalan, Spanish and Arabic). During the year, you will have access to all the internal training sessions delivered to the team (ex. public speaking).
Participant profile
➔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ➔ Experience or interest in photography, video-making, graphic design, and related software (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.) will be considered a plus; ➔ Experience or interest in community management and organisational skills; ➔ Knowledge of various social media platforms, e.g., Linkedin, Instagram, etc. and social media management tools and automation tools; ➔ Knowledge of WordPress is a plus; ➔ Strong interest in working in the non-profit/social sector and basic knowledge of the migration context of Europe; ➔ Able to speak and write in English (French and Spanish are a plus); ➔ Easy-going and loving an intercultural environment; ➔ A motivated, proactive, open-minded, tolerant, creative, and self-reliant person;
