Description
Kolping Society Lithuania is a part of the international Kolping society family and is located in the old town of second-biggest city Kaunas. Volunteers will be involved in daily activities of the hosting organization helping in the Kolping kindergarten and primary school: - Assistance in playing with children, organizing educating games and activities, helping children going outside to play, helping children in the outgoing trips, etc. - Another opportunity is taking part in Kolping community activities, organizing public language courses, summer camps etc. - Volunteerswill be invited to take part in volunteering events, to share the experience of volunteering, to spread the idea of volunteering and to inspire other young people to become volunteers. - Kolping society in Lithuania has a higher education school – Kolping university of applied sciences. For those who are interested may take part in Students conference, get in touch with KUAS students for leisure activities.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Accomodation: - personal room in an apartment in Kaunas (common spaces shared with other ESC volunteers); Pocket money monthly: 230 Eur Transport: monthly public transport ticket provided.
Formation pendant l’activité
- on-arrival and mid-term training provided by National Agency; - "little" on-arrival training organized by coordinating organization; - online Lithuanian language course.
Profil du participant
We are looking for motivated young person who loves working with small kids. This project aims to motivate young people to go for new experiences, to practice self independence and to develop their openness towards other people and becoming a part of a society.
