Description
La Fontaine des Eaux is a public school located in a small medieval and touristic town in Brittany not far from Saint Malo and Rennes. It’s a big school with around 2 000 students (15 to 20 years old) and 300 teachers and administrative staff. You will work with the international team of mainly 4 teachers and administrative staff. 2 of them will be your tutors during your project to host you and to meet your needs as to answer all your questions. You’ll be able to carry out different activites : - Animation : European cultural awareness, testimony, activities offered to students who will move (Focused on language skills)and to students in our boarding school. - Organisation of special events : Erasmus days (October), Europe day in collaboration with local associations, actors of international projects, welcoming of European partners. - Communication :communicate thanks to the school social networks and its website, get in contact with European partners to find new ones
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Your apartment is located in the school and you will be able to have breakfasts, lunches or dinners at the canteen. The flat has 3 rooms and can be shared with language assistants. You won’t be far from the city center (about 1 km) where you can easily go by bus (A free one) or bike or on foot.
Formation pendant l’activité
A special room is dedicated to International projects, that will be your work office. You will have a computer with internet access, a video-projector and all tools you need to organise visio-meetings. Having your own laptop would be fine. Possibility to attend French lessons or others at school if you are interested in. Weekly meetings will be organised to present you all the school team and to help you in your missions or your personal project. You’ll get formal meetings with the tutors and the director all along the mission.
Profil du participant
The school La Fontaine des Eaux is looking for a man/a woman between 21 and 30 years old We're asking for a B1/B2 level in English and in French.(S)he should know how to use basic computer tools such as microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, Padlet but also tools like social networks, Youtube. (S)he should be creative, communicative, enthusiastic about new projects and curious. (S)he likes to work with teenagers between 15 and 20 years old, wants to share about her/his culture,wants to lead (or being part of) projetcs with the teens and help teachers in charge of Erasmus projects
