Description
Support and reception actions for people and families seeking international and temporary protection. the TASKS to be carried out by the volunteer will be: • Support in activities and workshops related to daily life * Support and reinforcement of the participation of volunteers in the Centre * Support to the intervention team * Accompaniment and care for the people and families housed in the centre.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The volunteer will be accommodated in a Hostel/flat in a single room. The residence is located in the municipality of Bilbao or in the metropolitan area of Bilbao very well connected by public transport (underground, train and bus). Financial allowance of €200 per month for living expenses The volunteer will have a BARIK card and can be used for any transport between the accommodation and the place of the activity as well as for travelling within the city.
Formation pendant l’activité
The volunteer will have access to the EU ACADEMY online platform to learn the language, and will be able to practice it from the first moment with the team of professionals with whom he/she will be working. As a complement to the online platform provided by the programme, we will try to reinforce language learning with private classes from different resources. The team at the “GOOD HOSTEL” Bolueta will provide you with all the knowledge necessary for you to carry out your task in the best possible way, both on the part of the team and with the reinforcement of materials.
Profil du participant
* Preferably over 22 years of age, with a certain degree of autonomy in the tasks entrusted. * have had some experience of supporting and accompanying refugees and/or foreigners in their country of origin or with social groups. * outgoing and take initiative because she/ he will have to be able to develop activities and relationships in different spaces. * Have a basic knowledge of French, English, Arabic and/or Spanish.
