Description
Allianssi Youth Exchanges works for intercultural learning and global understanding through international mobility programs. We coordinate a variety of programs both in Finland and abroad (ESC program, Erasmus+ training courses, youth exchanges and mobilities for vocational students). The volunteer works with a variety of tasks depending on the skills and interests of the volunteers as well as the current activities of the organization. The volunteer will co-operate with our international partners and young people related to international mobility programs. The volunteer will be an example of ESC program and is expected to actively share her/his experience in Finland through social media channels in order to encourage other young people to volunteer and become active citizens. The volunteer will cooperate with local partners and visit schools, attend fairs as well as co-organise trainings and events. The volunteer can also have a role of a group leader on a volunteering project.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
You will be accommodated in shared apartment in Helsinki and you will have your own room. The location has good public transportation connection to the office and city center. You will receive food money to buy groceries and cook food for yourself. The project will start in September and last around 12 months with some flexibility.
Profil du participant
We look for a volunteer with interest in working with and for young people in organising events and activities as well as preferably with some earlier experience in communication and training activities. The volunteer can also be a team leader in volunteering projects during the summer, so earlier experience from similar activities is seen as an asset. We value sufficient level of English, self-initiative and positive attitude towards life. The volunteer will be a member of our small but active team. Please note that we can only accept volunteer applications from EU countries and Ukraine.
