Description
"The only limitation is your own imagination". Come and help us out at the voluntary central, we’re in need of some extra hands and brains! The main tasks will be creating activities with and for all members of the municipality, all ages and backgrounds. Organize activities indoors and outdoors. Support the local youth council with their projects. You will also be working with children, the elderly and refugees. We can offer a wide range of possibilities for personal growth! Learn the Norwegian language and the way of living in one of Norway’s smallest municipalities located way up north. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Accommodation can be partly with a host family, but for the most you'll live in your own apartment, which you share with the other volunteer. Transport to/from work will be arranged. Accommodation, food, pocket money and transport will be covered by European Solidarity Corps funding.
Formation pendant l’activité
Education in the Norwegian language will be provided. You will get to learn practical life skills, mostly learning by doing! We actively use the Youth Pass which helps to set out and monitor your learning goals and outcomes, a mentor will help in this process. Some off the skills you definitely will learn and improve: Creativity and initiative. Planning, implementation, management. Leading activities and events. You will also join the national On Arrival, and Mid Term seminar where you meet other European volunteers who are in Norway.
