Description
Ensure that a baseline and endline are established for each project before the implementation starts and after the project’s completion: support MEAL officer to plan and realize surveys to fill outcome and output indicators, design data collection tools, encode tools to facilitate the collection of information, generate databases to establish a situational analysis, and perform a comparison analysis between baseline and endline. Support the design of log-frame and monitoring and evaluating plan: identify and propose relevant indicators, draft adapted MEAL plans, etc. Support data management and analysis: create and update project database, contribute to regular analysis of data, and share relevant information, etc. Propose and implement functional accountability mechanism for the country office: contribute to the set up and implementation of approved mechanism, ensure the collection of data and perform monthly analysis, etc.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Accommodation, travel costs, visa, pre-deployment medical check + vaccinations (only if mandatory for the country), allowance will be covered. In case of need, a Fewer Opportunities Support will also be covered. A monthly Subsistence Lump Sum will be provided to cover basic needs such as food and personal hygiene items.
Formation pendant l’activité
Training during deployment will also be offered to improve the volunteer’s skills and competences.
Profil du participant
Economy, Sociology, Statistic or Demography. French and English as working language. Wolof or Pulaar considered. Experience of development/humanitarian context in low-income countries in West Africa; Experience in designing MEAL plan and data collection tools; knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research; data processing and analysis. experience in supporting the design and implementation of MEAL systems and standardized operational procedures.
