Be part of a multicultural eco-village in the making and learn skills related to social interactions, personal development, health and wellness, empowerment in an English language environment. Learn how to take care of our new arrivals for courses and volunteering, including preparation of rooms, pick-up and drop-off, socializing, showing new arrivals around, general house keeping. Explore living sustainably in community with other volunteers, teachers and students of our courses while being a part of our hosting team. Alojamiento, manutención y transporte
As a volunteer you receive free room and 3 daily meals. Your room is equipped with your own bath/toilet and kitchenette in the hallway. You will live in an aspiring eco-village together with residents, teachers and students of the courses. Car service is available to the local train station.
Formación durante la actividad
You will be able to join most sessions in some of our ongoing courses offered by Avno Hojskole (People’s College) in your free time. As a volunteer you will have a buddy, who helps you transition into the community and one or more working group mentors who supports you in regards to the work and your general well-being.
Perfil del participante
We are looking for volunteers interested in the eco-village experience, that have talents within the field of hosting and are willing to learn how to create a welcoming environment, a home away from home that feels inviting to social interactions. Ask us about our extending your stay to last up to 12 months.
