Kapraluv Mlyn Scout Environmental Education Centre is a modern eco-centre situated in the unique environment of the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area. The natural world of caves and diverse habitat enables exciting first-hand experience of nature for children and youth. Kapraluv Mlyn is a cross point of international events and work camps that offers a unique experience for young volunteers. Volunteering activities: - guest-care, shifts in an info-shop, help with the programs for schools, - maintenance of the Kapraluv mlyn grounds (cutting grass, chopping wood, sheep grazing, cutting down of invasive plants in the protected area, heating in the winter - , help with housekeeping, help in the kitchen (serving meals, washing dishes), - maintenance of the building (painting, making new furniture, making decorations etc.),
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Thanks to the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme of the European Union, Kaprálův mlýn provides you pocket money, accommodation, food allowance, sim card, health insurance, Czech language course and covers expanses of your travel to the project and back. Accommodation in the mill area, in a house for volunteers.
Formation pendant l’activité
- volunteers participate in educational programs for schools and scout groups - participates in the Czech language course - Kapralův mlýn supports any chosen educational activities if the volunteer stays for more than 6 months
Profil du participant
We are looking for nature lovers, preferably scouts. Fairness, team spirit, responsibility are important to us, as well as proactivity, willingness to work physically and openes to learn new thigs.
