Description
We believe that Art represents an infinite space for expression, relationship, and growth, capable of breaking barriers and giving voice to unjust situations. For this reason, we want the worlds of Art and Social to have a platform for dialogue and experimentation that continues to grow and consolidate innovative and effective methodologies for social inclusion. Therefore, we are seeking volunteers who have an interest and/or background in cultural management, communication, production, art, and culture in general, to participate in this activity. The aim is to generate a series of intensive working days together with members of the community. We believe that the development of artistic and creative projects is therapeutic, empowering, and educational, where artistic experiences are showcased and promoted as a tool for social inclusion.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
(Fundación Escuela de Solidaridad/FES) is located in Sierra Elvira, just ten kilometers from Granada (Spain) The house 7 in which participants will live in is entirely dedicated to them. The house is provided with heating, WI-FI, hot water and any other facilities; this house can host up to 32 persons (in each room will live from 2 to 4 people) and it has 5 bathrooms with their own shower. We will provide every meals (it is to say breakfast, lunch and dinner), which will be served in our common canteen. Breakfast: 8.30 Lunch: 14.30
Participant profile
Creation, management, monitoring, and evaluation of artistic and creative workshops and activities. Logistical support in the production of cultural events. Assistance in external communication and promotion. Providing artistic and creative workshops for people in Granada and residents of the FES community. Organizing cultural and artistic activities in Granada. Accompanying center members and residents in various workshops, providing logistical support to workshop coordinators. Supporting the design and implementation of a European values and citizen participation education
