Description

!! Please apply via https://www.icja.de/content/freiwilligendienste/programme/esk-dein-europaeischer-freiwilligendienst !! As part of its job in promoting international volunteering, SPW is actively involved in the creation of audiovisual and written content for its social media. That is the reason why two of the volunteers are required to stay in its headquarters of the NGO and ensure a proper diffusion of the work that SPW is doing. These volunteers need to have an active knowledge of social media, as well as some basic graphic design and photo editing skills. Another important aspect of this project is the participation in events related to international programs for youth, volunteering and promotion of European values. This task can bring the volunteers to give speeches in Polish schools, helping in preparatory for future volunteers and leading SPW workcamps during the summer season. The headquarters of SPW are in the center of Warsaw, near the Palace of Culture and Science.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The two volunteers share a flat in Bielany, a residential neighbourhood located in the north of Warsaw. From there, they can reach the working place in less than 30 minutes thanks to the efficient public transport network of the city. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, where the volunteers can cook their own meals after having bought their groceries in one of the numerous supermarkets of the city. To do that they will receive a food allowance of 150 euros per month. All volunteers receive a city transport pass that allows them to use all means of public transport.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will receive an On-Arrival-Training at the beginning and a Mid-Term-Evaluation after half of their time.
